Q: What fabric is the MonaLisa Mamas products made from?
A: The MonaLisa Mamas Baby Wrap is made from a stretchy yet supportive fabric to accommodate your baby as he/she grows. It also provides comfort to mom (or dad/aunt/grandma/bestie) with two-shoulder and full-torso support to make baby-wearing weightless, even with a heavy baby. The Mini Baby Wraps are made from a slightly lighter cotton fabric.
The MonaLisa Mamas Nursing Cover is made from quality breathable cotton fabric with a toweling corner and pocket for spills and discreet storage.
The MonaLisa Mamas Nursing Arm Pillow are made of a soft lightweight fabric, with soft stuffing inside – safe for machine wash and easy to dry.
The MonaLisa Mamas Onesie is made from a soft 100% cotton for those precious little bodies.
The MonaLisa Mamas Kiddie Snood is made from a lightweight, stretchy t-shirting cotton. Warm and soft enough for sensitive necks, but easy to wash and quick to dry.
How do I tie the Baby Wrap?
Yes, we know it looks complicated, but we promise it’s not! You’ll have the hang of it within a few tries! Have a look at our step-by-step instructions here. We do send you a paper copy with your Baby Wrap, too. We suggest wrapping in front of the mirror the first time, just to help orientate yourself. Or ask your mom/friend/hubby to help. If you’re still getting tangled up, give us a shout!
From when to when can I wrap my baby?
Wrapping your baby is totally safe and very beneficial from newborn up until 12-14 kg. There are so many benefits to babywearing. Is my MonaLisa Mamas product hand-wash only?
Are you kidding? Ain’t nobody got time for that! We do suggest using a gentle, low temperature machine cycle to preserve the quality of your product, though.

If I order online, how long will it take to get my product?
From the date that you order until you have your gorgeous MonaLisa Mamas product in your possession can be anything from 3 – 8 weekdays. After all, we are committed to deliver the BEST service you can possibly get. Payment made via PayFast/Fast EFT clears immediately and payment via bank EFT usually takes about 2 days to clear in our account. As soon as that happens, your order gets processed and sent via courier. We will send you an email with the tracking number, so you could keep a close eye on your order. Oh….did we mention shipping is SUPER CHEAP?!

Yes! Yes, we do!
Can I pop in at your workshop?
Unfortunately, visits to our workshop are by appointment only. Kindly arrange with us for local collection.
How will my order be sent?
We have more than one shipping option:
- Fast Delivery (Standard shipping) includes a store-to-door delivery via Fastway. Fastway delivers within 24-72 hours of when the parcel is sent. Cost is R60.
- Super Fast Delivery (Expedited shipping) includes a store-to-door delivery via Aramex. Aramex delivers with 24 hours of when your parcel is sent, provided you live within 50km of a main centre. Main centres include: Johannesburg, Pretoria, Polokwane, Rustenburg, Nelspruit, Vaal Triangle, Kimberley, Bloemfontein, Cape Town, George, Port Elizabeth, East London, Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Stellenbosch and Richards Bay. Cost is R100.
When do you ship?
Anything from 3 to 5 working days from receiving proof of payment.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We do! Please contact us at email@example.com for pricing – we want to help you as far as possible.
Do you have retail shops that sell your products?

What about exchanges/returns?
Like we all know, things happen…sometimes we don’t have control over it. So, if for some reason your product arrives, and it’s damaged or not what you thought (we’re working on it, but the our Baby Wraps don’t make babies fall sleep by itself yet), or there is some other special case that you think warrants a refund/exchange consideration, please contact us! We want to take care of you.
Please note that a refund on a returned product is subject to the product being in it’s original and unused condition.
Re transport costs: If you wish to return/exchange your product due to a defect, we accept the responsibility to cover any and all transport costs to return the product to our workshop. If you wish to return/exchange your product for any other reason, the responsibility for transport costs fall on you as the customer. That seems fair, don’t you think?
What is your cancellation policy like?
We understand that unexpected things happen. All the time. You are more than welcome to cancel your order voluntarily within the first 14 days after you have placed your order. No judgement here. Please do note that if your order remains unpaid after 14 days from placing your order, your order will automatically be cancelled. No hogging the pretty products from the other shoppers! That said, we really don’t hold grudges, so please feel free to drop in again and find that something special you were looking for.
